It has been another busy and successful week at HAWI, and I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who has helped make it such a positive one for our students.
First, a huge thank you to the WPA for organising and running a brilliant Quiz Night. It was a fantastic event and very well attended. Thank you to all the parents and students who took part and supported the evening. Congratulations also go to the teachers’ team who managed to win! I hope it is reassuring to know that your children are in very knowledgeable hands.
I would also like to extend my thanks to the parents who gave their time to support our very productive Careers Fair. Students in Years 9–13 had the valuable opportunity to speak directly with a wide range of employers and professionals, helping them to explore possible future pathways and gain insight into different careers.
Today, our Year 9 students are busy running their Charity Day as part of their Duke of Edinburgh work. It has been wonderful to see them embracing our school motto, “Make a Difference,” as they raise money for the charities they have chosen to support.
Finally, we have enjoyed a brilliant Science Week. Thanks go to the Science Department for organising such engaging activities and helping our students deepen their understanding and curiosity about the world of science.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
Mrs Larizadeh
