Students have nine lessons a fortnight in each core A Level subject, and six lessons a fortnight for the EPQ. Depending on the number of A Levels they are studying, each student in Year 12 will have between six and nine independent study periods a fortnight. In Year 13 this will increase to eight to eleven study periods a fortnight.
