In the National Performance tables HAWI is ranked in the Top 5% Nationally for Academic Excellence – Excelling in EBacc and Disadvantaged Student Outcomes.
We have been recognised as one of the top-performing schools in the country, according to the provisional national performance tables published yesterday.
We are proud to be ranked in the top 5% of all schools nationally for EBacc attainment at both 4+ and 5+, placing us among the top 220 schools in England, including independent and selective institutions.
The English Baccalaureate (EBacc) is a rigorous academic qualification that requires students to achieve strong passes across a challenging suite of subjects: English, Maths, Science, a humanities subject (History or Geography), and a language. Nationally, fewer schools enter students for the full EBacc due to its demanding nature – making our success in this area particularly impressive.
In addition, we have achieved outstanding results for disadvantaged students, ranking in the top 5% nationally across every key attainment measure. This means that the students are excelling across every subject area – from core academic subjects to the arts, technology, and vocational subjects.
These outcomes reflect the school's unwavering commitment to inclusion, equity, and academic excellence for all students, regardless of background. HAWI continues to be a school where high expectations, academic excellence and a strong ethos of enrichment and personal development create an environment where every young person can thrive. As the school motto reminds every student: “Make a difference – to yourself and everyone around you.” These outstanding results are just one way we are helping our students do exactly that.
Thank you for all your support during this half term.
We wish everyone a relaxing and enjoyable break.
Best regards,
Mrs Larizadeh
