Year 10s took part in workshops on debating techniques at King's College School Wimbledon. They learned to structure arguments, make rebuttals, and speak persuasively. Year 9s who chose GCSE History were fortunate to welcome Annick Lever BEM, a Holocaust Survivor. Annick shared the experiences of her family in Nazi occupied France during WW2. Newsletter 09.05.25

Today, we said goodbye—for now—to our incredible Year 13 students as they began their study leave. This marks a significant milestone for HAWI, as they are the very first cohort to reach Year 13 since we opened. They have truly been our trailblazers.

From the very beginning, this group has led the way—setting the tone, building traditions, and showing independence, integrity, and resilience. They leave behind a strong legacy and have paved the way for future students to follow. Many have secured impressive university offers and exciting opportunities, and we know they are stepping confidently into the next stage of their journeys.

We are immensely proud of all they have achieved and grateful for the mark they have left on our school community. We wish them the very best of luck in their exams and all that lies ahead.
