Newsletter 06/05/22
We are three weeks into the Summer Term and it has been wonderful to see everyone working together. Since the beginning of term, we have seen excellent team spirit – at the Stephen Lawrence Foundation day, in preparing for the Eid Celebration, students working effectively together in lessons and in all of our extracurricular activities.
Next Wednesday we have 79 students representing the Academy at the Borough Sports Competition and we wish them the best of luck as they support each other. The Heads of House have been developing their team spirit in the house trips this week where students have enjoyed going out together. Reaching a goal together and supporting each other is an important part of our community spirit and there will be plenty more opportunities after half term especially in our outdoor activity week.
Until then, we have our exam week in two weeks and Mr Maurice has given the students plenty of advice to how to revise and rest as they prepare for them.
