It has been a busy and exciting week at the Academy as students have been striving to ‘make a difference’ to their own lives and the lives of everyone else around them.
There are a plethora of extracurricular clubs on offer every week and it was a delight to see your children signing up and enjoying their first session.
This weekend, we have a group of year 10 students completing their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh expedition in the Surrey hills. I’m sure they will have a great time and we will publish some photographs next week.
Year 7 had the opportunity to attend a virtual author event with Michelle Paver this morning as part of the Wimbledon Bookfest Sunset Festival and our library is open everyday for the students; please encourage your children to visit.
