As you may have heard already, the government has now announced that the country is moving into the ‘delay’ phase of fighting coronavirus. Schools across the country will remain open during this period. However, I have been advised to postpone all large scale events including parents’ evenings. Consequently, we will postponing the Year 7 Parents’ Evenings on the 19th and 26th March and the WPA’s International Evening on the 2nd April. I have written a detailed letter regarding our plans which has been sent out to you via email.
School life continues as normal and Science week was a great success. There was a great competition for ‘who can build the best boat’ and the students had a good time on the ‘School Safari’. Next week there are a range of different events for Sport Relief which have been planned by the students following the Sports’ Leader course. Each activity costs 20p to play and all the money raised will be sent to the sport relief charities. Please encourage your son/daughter to get involved.
