“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” – Dr. Seuss

Dr Seuss books were great favourites in my house as I was growing up.  The rhymes and illustrations are a great introduction to reading.  I think this quote really sums up the importance of reading;  it gives us new knowledge and exposes us to new ideas.  We are building our reading stock in the library so that we have a wide range of engaging books for all of our students to choose from.  330 new books have just arrived so if your son/daughter is not enjoying their reading book, please encourage them to go and see Ms Nylinder (our librarian) who will support them in choosing something new.  Please talk to your son/daughter about what they are reading and encourage them to read every day.
