Language Teacher Appointed

Miss Eva Ortega has been appointed as a Language teacher, teaching Spanish, Latin and French.  Miss Ortega has a masters degree in teaching from the National University of Spain and speaks 5 different languages.  She joins Harris Academy Wimbledon from Harris Academy Morden.

"I have always passionately believed in the importance of learning a language and hope I can inspire my students to feel the same. Speaking many different languages has helped me to develop friendships across a number of different countries and supported me in meeting many interesting people. Many companies are doing business with countries around the world and they are looking to hire people with a global outlook who can speak at least one foreign language.  The students at Harris Academy Wimbledon have the opportunity to learn Spanish, Latin and French and I am very excited about leading them on this journey."
