HAWI students should feel incredibly proud of themselves this week. They’ve approached exam week with remarkable dedication, focus, and a genuine eagerness to demonstrate their learning. These qualities are laying a strong foundation of resilience that will serve them well as they work towards their GCSEs in the future.
Speaking of GCSEs, our Year 11 students are now halfway through their exams and continue to impress us with their determination and resilience. Today, we took a break from revision to hold a formal leavers’ ceremony — a special moment for students to reflect, hear words of encouragement from their house tutors, and take part in the tradition of signing shirts.
It’s hard to believe this cohort began their HAWI journey back in 2020. Nearly five years later, they have grown into thoughtful and creative young people. We will certainly miss their humour, passion, and their drive to make a difference. That said, we’re excited to welcome many of them back into our Sixth Form community in the coming months.
Thank you for your continued support throughout this half term.
Wishing you and your families a restful and enjoyable half term break.
