What a great week we have had with the whole community committing to ‘make a difference’ to themselves and everyone else around them. There were plenty of cakes eaten today as we raised money for Comic Relief and lots of joy as the Year 8 girls beat Harris Chafford Hundred 14-13 in a netball competition. The HAWI singers had an amazing experience performing at The Royal Albert Hall and the bands from HAWI Rocks! received the most popular vote at the Battle of the Bands competition.
It has also been a week of Science activities with an air rocket design challenge, the marble run challenge and a timed themed scavenger hunt. Thank you to all the staff who have organised and led all the different activities.
We hope that you will be able to join us at the school production of Oliver this week and we wish the students who are participating in the Senior Maths Challenge the very best of luck.
