Happy New Year!
It has been a delight to welcome everyone back to HAWI for 2024. In assembly this week, I talked to the students about being good citizens and being the best version of themselves so we can fulfil our moto to ‘make a difference’ to ourselves and the lives of everyone else around us. We also discussed the importance of wearing our uniform with pride and ensuring we have all of the equipment we need for every lesson. I am very conscious of the cost of living at the moment so please don’t hesitate to contact us if you require any financial support for uniform or equipment. Mr Walsh put all the contact details in the letter he sent out on Monday.
In normal HAWI spirit, we have a lot planned for 2024 including the Lower School Disco, a variety of visits on Deep Learning days, the academy production of Oliver and charity day on Friday 22nd March. This is also the term for many parents’ evenings – please put the dates in your diary and we look forward to seeing you there.
