The war in Gaza is a very distressing situation and I know that many of our students are impacted by the conflict in different ways. It is at these times, that the compassion and support we have in our HAWI community is at the forefront of everything we do. In assembly this week, I reminded the students that if they need any more support, then they should go and see their director of school.
We have much to celebrate in our community and we were delighted that some of our students were chosen to attend a meeting with Rt Hon Gillian Keegan MP and Baroness Baron to discuss how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can have a positive impact on education.
There should be a segment on Sky News over the weekend.
I was also delighted to hear how wonderful the trip was to Iceland. I think the pictures below tell the story. As ever, I am very grateful to all the staff for giving up their time and for planning such a splendid experience.
