Newsletter 01/07/22
The students have shown an abundance of integrity, resilience and independence this week as they have settled back into their lessons following an exciting outdoor activity week.
We have been preparing for our British Culture and Heritage Day and I have been so impressed with the Heritage Boxes the students have produced ; you can see some pictures in the newsletter. We are currently planning how we can share the stories more widely across our community.
This week we welcome the new Year 7s for their induction day and look forward to them becoming part of our community – we are delighted that we have 48 siblings joining us this year. On Monday, we have an Inset day where we look forward to welcoming all the new teachers who will be joining us in September.
Time has flown by and it doesn’t seem very long ago that we were opening HAWI with 8 teachers in Whatley Avenue – we will have 56 teachers in September!
