We welcomed a number of visitors to the academy this week. Stuart Lawrence spoke to the students about being resilient and being the best versions of themselves. Over 800 parents and children from primary schools came to look round to help them choose their secondary school. Feedback about your sons and daughters, who acted as tour guides or helped out in lessons, was fantastic. I am really proud of how engaging, thoughtful and proud they were of their academy. This week is another busy week as we recognise World Mental Health Day, celebrate Black History Month and immerse ourselves in the deep learning days on Thursday and Friday.
