A BIG THANK YOU to the BRILLIANT Y9 students who volunteered in the Library as part of their DofE Award. They have processed 100s of books and carried out admin tasks at home while we were in lockdown. The new library would be nowhere near it is today without their help. https://t.co/Pse9BOtnCt

I would like to wish our families Eid Mubarak.  7 Dowding presented an excellent assembly on Eid where they shared how Ramadan is a time to think about other people and be kind to them. 7 Dowding also wished all Muslims Eid Mubarak for their great efforts during Ramadan.

We are planning our residential trips for 2021/22.  Residential trips have proven to have a positive effect on children's’ self esteem and confidence levels.  They support young people to develop emotional and social skills as well as supporting them to try new things and unplug from technology!   There will be trips for all year groups next year and we plan to publish the programme in the newsletter next week.

As we begin to emerge form Covid restrictions, I am keen to re-launch our Wimbledon Parents’ Association.  The role of the WPA is to organise fundraising, social activities and to support the school in all its endeavours.

If you would like to get involved please email Mrs Kirby so we can arrange a meeting.

Best wishes for a lovely weekend,

Mrs Larizadeh
