Open Evening

Our annual Open Evening for those considering entry for September 2023 intake will take place on Tuesday 20th September 2022 from 5pm - 8pm.  You will have the opportunity to join one of our Principal’s talks and tour the academy, meeting with our staff and students. The Principal’s talks will be held at 5pm, 5.45pm, 6.30pm and 7.15pm. Entry is by ticket only.  Tickets will be available from Friday 24th June 2022 at midday.

Open Morning Tours

You can also view the academy in action by booking an Open Morning tour on:

Thursday 22nd September, Tuesday 4th October and Thursday 6th October.

Open Evening

Our Sixth Form Open Evening for entry in September 2023 will take place on Tuesday 11th October 2022 from 6pm - 8pm.  The evening will commence with a Principal’s talk at 6pm followed by A level subject sessions. Entry is by ticket only.  Tickets will be available from Friday 24th June 2022 at midday.

Open Morning Tours

Virtual Information

The links below provide you with an insight to the Academy.  They were created for September 2021 entry when we were unable to welcome visitors but they are still relevant for entrance in 2023.

 

 

 

 

 

We will have 180 places for September 2023.  Please apply through the CAF (common application form) provided and administered by the respective home local authority applicant.

We will admit children with an EHCP, looked after or previously looked after children and siblings. We allocate up to 10% of the places available within the PAN to children who demonstrate an aptitude for music. 

All remaining applications will be allocated based on distance from three nodal points:

1. Colliers Wood Station

2. The main entrance of the Academy

3. Haydon's Road Station

For the 2022 Year 7 admissions the furthest distance offered during the first round of offers for each nodal point is as follows:

  • Colliers Wood Station - 720.12 meters
  • Merton Abbey Primary School - 1,604.37 meters
  • Haydon’s Road Station - 8,986.70 meters
