HAWI6 Results

Building on the success of our inaugural cohort, HAWI6 is proud to celebrate another outstanding year of student achievement, with more than 80% of students progressing to university and a significant number securing places at some of the UK’s leading universities.

The academy’s 2026 results reflect its continued commitment to academic excellence and to empowering every student to pursue their individual passions and ambitions. 55% of students achieved grades A–B, up from 53% in 2025, while 99% achieved grades A–E, compared with 100% last year. The academy also celebrated outstanding progression to higher education, with more than three times the national average of students securing places at Russell Group universities. These achievements highlight the academy’s dedication to supporting every student to fulfil their potential and progress to leading universities and their chosen future pathways.

The results are particularly impressive across a wide range of subjects, reflecting the academy’s strength in preparing students not only for university, but for the subjects and careers that inspire them.

Outstanding preparation for Medicine

The academy has continued to develop an excellent track record in supporting students aspiring to careers in medicine. This year, students are progressing to leading university destinations including Queen Mary University of London, the University of Sunderland and St Mary’s University, Twickenham.

These destinations reflect the academy’s strong focus on helping students identify their passions, develop their academic potential, and take confident steps towards highly competitive careers.

Over the last two years, students have secured places on an impressive range of courses at leading universities across the UK.

We are an academy for STEM
