Careers & University
At HAWI6, we are ambitious for every student’s future. The majority of our students progress to higher education, including Russell Group universities and highly competitive degree apprenticeships. We provide a comprehensive and personalised careers programme, guiding students through every stage of decision-making and the UCAS process so they can make informed, aspirational choices with confidence.
Our Careers Programme includes:

· One-to-one careers interviews with our dedicated Careers Advisor
· One-to-one guidance meetings with a member of the university support team
· A dedicated mentor to support progression beyond Sixth Form
· Specialist advice and support for degree apprenticeships
· Expert guidance for Oxbridge and Medicine through our partnership with King’s College School, Wimbledon
· Visits to universities, employers and careers fairs
· Development of key employability skills, including communication, teamwork and professionalism
In addition, our Learning Above and Beyond (LAB) and super-curricular programmes, delivered every Tuesday, provide academic depth, critical thinking and enrichment experiences that are highly valued by leading universities and employers.
Federation Support
HAWI6 students also benefit from the wider Federation’s careers expertise, providing access to additional specialist guidance and a broad network of professional opportunities.
Life Beyond HAWI6
At HAWI6, our goal is not only to support students in securing their next destination, but to prepare them for long-term success in a rapidly changing world. Through academic rigour, personalised guidance and meaningful enrichment, students develop independence, resilience and confidence. They leave HAWI6 as articulate, ambitious and adaptable young people, fully equipped to thrive at university, in apprenticeships and in their future careers.
