KS2 Creative Writing Competition
Harris Academy Wimbledon invites KS2 students to participate in a creative writing competition:
"Continue the Story"
"First it was there and then it was gone. Had I imagined it? I didn't think so..."
Entries must be typewritten and be in WORD/PDF format only (maximum words: 500) using the supplied Harris Academy Wimbledon Entry Template.
Writers will not be penalised for grammar and spelling; however, the best way is to plan work before writing it and to check and edit the text before submission.
The use of AI as a writing tool is prohibited and any entries suspected of being written with the use of AI will not be accepted.
Please do encourage students to work independently without the help of parents and teachers.
Entries should then be submitted on the supplied template and emailed to: Mrs C. Angely c.angely@harriswimbledon.org.uk
CLOSING DATE: Wednesday 25th November 2026.

· Structure: beginning, middle & end
The judges are our wonderful team of English teachers.
Finalists and their parents and carers will be contacted and invited to a reward ceremony at Harris Academy Wimbledon on 1st December, 2026.
