Applying to Year 7

We will have 180 places for September 2025.

Please apply through the CAF (common application form) provided and administered by the respective home local authority applicant or apply online at www.eadmissions.org.uk. No applications made direct to the Academy will be accepted.

We will admit children with an EHCP, looked after or previously looked after children and siblings. We allocate up to 10% of the places available within the PAN to children who demonstrate an aptitude for music. 

All remaining applications will be allocated based on distance from three nodal points:

1. Colliers Wood Station
2. The main entrance of the Academy
3. Haydon's Road Station

For the 2025 Year 7 admissions the furthest distance offered during the first round of offers for each nodal point is as follows:

• Colliers Wood Station - 1,002.76 meters
• Main Entrance of the Academy- 1,612.93 meters
• Haydon’s Road Station - 1,983.88 meters

For the 2024 Year 7 admissions the furthest distance offered during the first round of offers for each nodal point is as follows:

• Colliers Wood Station - 770.10 meters
• Main Entrance of the Academy- 1,916.33 meters
• Haydon’s Road Station - 2,426.40 meters

For the 2023 Year 7 admissions the furthest distance offered during the first round of offers for each nodal point is as follows:

• Colliers Wood Station - 833.17 meters
• Main Entrance of the Academy - 1,349.89 meters
• Haydon’s Road Station - 3854.23 meters

Appeals Process

Parents or carers wishing to appeal the Academy’s admission refusal must complete the admissions appeal form. For Year 7 entry in 2026, appeals must be submitted by 31st March 2026, and for in-year applications, within 20 school days of the refusal. An independent panel will hear the case and issue a binding decision, communicated within five school days.
