In assemblies this week, we discussed that ‘no one is too small to make a difference’ which is the title of Greta Thunberg’s book. The book is a collection of her speeches from climate change rallies across Europe. Today the students have been ‘making a difference’ by raising money for comic relief by hosting an amazing Red Nose Day. Congratulations to all the students for their enthusiastic engagement in the charity activities. I have also been very impressed with the great work students have been doing in lessons this week and the care they have shown in keeping to all the safety guidelines we have in place. We are focusing on rewards up until Easter and encouraging as many students as possible to earn their effort stamps, stickers and kudos rewards; I am looking forward to awarding many certificates. The criteria for earning rewards at HAWI is to work hard. If students work hard and do their best, they will always be rewarded.
Best wishes for a lovely weekend, Mrs Larizadeh
