I really appreciate all the support you give to us by guiding your children to support our motto of ‘make a difference’ by being kind, polite, working hard and supporting each other. I am really pleased to report that we have given out 22,254 reward points since the beginning of the school year and many students are now beginning to collect their stickers and Kudos rewards. You will find all the information in the student planner about the extra rewards students can claim when they reach a certain number of stickers. We have a number of activities planned between now and the end of term. 30th November – 4th December will be our anti-bullying and charity week and we will publish all of the information in the newsletter next week. We will also be supporting Save the Children with their Christmas Jumper day on Friday 11th December. On Wednesday 16th December, Christmas lunch will be provided for all students who would like it and they need to sign up with their tutor next week.
I hope you are all coping well with the current National Lockdown and all your families are safe and well. The standard of cleaning and hygiene at the academy is very high. I am very confident in all the procedures and routines we have in place so that we can minimise risk of transmission in the academy. As you are aware, we have had one positive case so please can I ask you to remind your children to social distance outside of the academy so we can minimise the risk of anyone getting it.
Have a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Mrs Larizadeh
