I hope that you are all keeping well and coping with these extraordinary times.
We have been in contact with both students and parents during the course of our first week and I am very grateful for all the positive messages we have been receiving. I really would like to thank the excellent staff we have at Harris Academy Wimbledon who really couldn’t be doing any more than they are doing at the moment. We have been meeting (virtually) and reviewing our Virtual School which will continue to evolve and develop in the weeks ahead. Our numbers are small for our key worker school but we hope we are making a positive difference. I’d like to thank Mr Gonzales for keeping the building open to the high standards that we always have.
Please support your children in developing good routines for home learning: complete the virtual registration by 8.45am and then work through the timetable as if it was a day at school. Students can contact their teachers to ask them any questions and we are always here to help any of our families. Please encourage your children to regularly check their Harris email address as this is how we are communicating with them.
We shall continue to do our best for our learners and please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
